I conduct research and consultancies on design and social innovation in the areas of HCI, UX, participation of marginalized groups, social inclusion, gender equality, and participatory futures in the global south.
I have also advised educational organizations in Kenya regarding the development of learning products and curricula for new programs in digital media and creative technologies, updating their curriculum of existing programs in digital media and creative technologies, coordinating learning programs and processes of innovation and the application of the experiential learning framework to all digital media and creative technologies programs.

Graduate researcher and teaching assistant

I was a graduate researcher in Pop-Machina an H2020 project that looked to explore the potential of the maker movement to promote the circular economy in 7 European cities. I also was TA in different courses and special training in design and technology. I created and gave a course on feminisms, design, and technology for undergraduate MAVA students. Finally, I was a lead organizer of the PDC places activities in Istanbul.

Innova La Reina Project Coordinator

Innova La Reina was a project to match opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship in the commune of La Reina, involving different citizen participation tools. An open call for ventures that offered innovative solutions was made to implement those projects within the commune. The main tasks were to manage, coordinate, plan, and control different activities for the successful development of the project.

Founder of Odisea, an NGO which empowers children and youth through innovation, science, and technology project development. The main tasks were to conduct theoretical and practical methods of research, workshop development, project development, and project management. This NGO has been supported by Colunga Foundation, Ashoka, Socialab, Google, Amazon, and UNESCO.
